Delhi:EROS TIMES: It was one an unusual day at Gulshan Kumar Film & Television Institute of India, which saw the reunion of the teachers with their pupil.
The famous Bollywood Film Director Faraz Haider, of ‘War Chorna Yaar’( 2014) and ‘Nanu ki Janu’ (2018) fame, a box office hit, came to express his gratitude to his teachers Prof. Kalyan Sarkar, Dean, and Prof. Mansoor Naqvi, Associate Dean of Gulshan Kumar Film & Television Institute of India.
Faraz Haider also conducted a Master-Class on Direction and interacted with the students at length. It was a session loaded with brilliant words of wisdom which enriched the students and boost their confidence level. Students who had seen the recently released film of Faraz had several thought-provoking questions in regards to Direction, Cinematography, and Scriptwriting.
He answered all potential questions with logical reasoning combined with his experience. He inspired the students to be confident and set out in the right direction.
In a reply to a question when asked about his success mantra and what he felt was of utmost importance, he emphasized the need to be well equipped with the knowledge about Film Making and be patient in order to succeed in the film industry. He also listed a few essential character traits which should be a part of media students i.e, confidence and seriousness.
Faraz Haider explained the functioning style of the film industry and what is expected of the newcomers. Faraz met the teachers and was all praise for the young talented faculty besides his own teachers from whom he had learned.
He toured the Gulshan Kumar Film & Television Institute of India campus and was very impressed by the infrastructure and the facilities.
