New Delhi:EROS TIMES: Delhi Government Social Welfare Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam visited to the riot-affected areas of North East Delhi on Monday. Local MLA Surendra Singh, former MLA Sarita Singh Nigam visited Bhagirathi Vihar, Chaman Park, Shiv Vihar Pulia, Bridge Puri Pulia, and Shiv Vihar Tiraha, along with councilors and other officials on Monday.
Assuring all the riot victims in the area of immediate help on behalf of the Delhi government, Mr. Rajendra Pal Gautam said, “The Delhi government is with the people and committed to provide all possible help to all those affected.”
In the meeting, Gokulpur MLA Surendra Singh, former MLA of Rohtas Nagar, Sarita Singh, along with councilor, police officers and other officials met the riot victims and assured them of speedy assistance, and instructed the authorities to expedite the relief operations.
Cabinet Minister and all the other officials inspected Bhagirathi Vihar, Chaman Park, Shiv Vihar Pulia, Bridge Puri Pulia, and Shiv Vihar Tiraha and also informed the riot victims that the Delhi government has formed a team of volunteers, who can help them in obtaining the financial assistance of the Delhi government with immediate effect. Mr. Rajendra Pal Gautam also took stock of the areas affected by the recent riots, along with visiting the hospitals and met the victims.
“I would like to assure all the victims that the Delhi government stands with them. You should not worry.
We are making all the necessary arrangements for their stay, food, and rehabilitation,” said Mr. Rajendra Pal Gautam
