New Delhi:EROS TIMES: The Directorate of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, issued a fresh notification here on Tuesday for students of the North Eastern part and affected areas of Delhi.
The circular was issued with respect to the ongoing CBSE Board Examinations of Classes X and XII which students from violence affected areas have not been able to appear due to unavoidable circumstances till March 7, 2020.
In the circular issued by the Directorate of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, the Heads of Govt., Govt. Aided; and Unaided Recognised schools of North Eastern parts and adjoining areas of Delhi were notified about the decision by the CBSE in consultation with the Directorate of Education Department, Delhi.
The DOE, Govt. of NCT of Delhi also issued guidelines for the Heads of schools and center superintendent to ensure that the records of students not appearing in the exam from affected areas is maintained meticulously and shared with CBSE.
It has also assured the students that they need not worry. In case, they missed their exams being conducted until 7th March, their school will directly enroll them for repeat exam which the CBSE will conduct at a later date.
Students have also been advised to check with their school after 7th March.
Meanwhile, they can contact the Head of their school for books, stationery, etc if required.
Further, a special PTM is being organized in all schools of District North East and adjoining areas of Delhi on 4th and 5th Market to assure the parents about the well being of their children.
